Merenda has been owned and run by the Haslette family since its foundation. Oliver Haslette, the Managing Director took over a disused warehouse in the town of Manorhamilton in 1984 and set up the company on this site. Merenda has progressively grown over the years and today its worldwide customer base is testament to the reputation that the company has built up.

From the Northwest corner of Europe, Merenda manufacture and compete with their products on a worldwide scale. For 20 years, we have succeeded by building a strong foundation of expertise in our core competency of wood veneers.

Merenda has grown progressively since its small beginnings. The company moved from its original plant, to a new custom built production facility in 2000. Since this move, we have added to our product offering by opening a major new production line manufacturing Rolled Thickwood Product. Coupled with our expertise and understanding in producing wrapping veneer, Merenda has earned a reputation for helpfulness, reliability & a respect for quality.
