The Merenda Team are the lifeblood of the organisation. The rural location of the company provides an employment base of hardworking, diligent people who value the potential that a market leading company has to offer. At peak production, Merenda employs 50 people in its 40,000 Sq. Ft. production facility.

• Oliver Haslette, Managing Director: Oliver is the original founder of Merenda. He began the company with his wife Joan who is the Finance Director. They are still the majority shareholders in the company. From small beginnings, Oliver has built the company into the profitable export driven organisation it is today.
• Sean Gilligan, Production Manager: Sean has worked for Merenda for 14 years and joined the company after spending a number of years in the furniture manufacturing sector. Sean was the project manager for the company’s expansion plan into a new purpose built production facility in 2000. This expansion facilitated the growth and expansion of product lines such as Profile Wrap & Rolled Thickwood Edge.
• Ronan Haslette, General Manager, Sales & Marketing: Ronan is the newest recruit to the firm and joined the company 2 years ago, after a number of years working in the FMCG sector. Ronan’s background is in business and he has brought some fresh thinking to his sales portfolio. Ronan’s takes a proactive approach to his role. He understands the importance of a professional service for the discerning buyer.
